Coming to a theater near you: Ray Liotta, Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci and Eric Lynch (aka Eric the Midget) in a touching remake of the 1990 blockbuster movie Goodfellas.
"As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster," says Eric the Midget, who narates the remade film.
Although most people don't know it, the movie Goodfellas was based on the true-life story of the adorable but cranky Eric the Midget, who grew who grew up with dreams of becoming a "big kid gangster", skipping school for months at a time to work for the cab service across the street run by mob boss Paul Cicero (Paul Sorvino). The way of life for a mobster, as seen through young Eric's impressionable eyes, is the ultimate way of life for a midget.

The Kerala Small Men Association has 300 members across the state and is demanding what it calls "special recognition" from the government.

Eric Lynch is an unhappy member of Howard Stern's Wack Pack, a menagerie of miscreants and genetic mistakes composed of callers and unusual guests to the Howard Stern radio show. Dubbed "Eric the Midget" for obvious reasons, Lynch prefers to be called "Eric the Actor" and will often leave venomous messages on the Stern show voice mail referring to various staff members as "[censored]" and "[censored]".

Midget and Dwarf Tossing: A Lost Art?
Lynch most recently gained infamy for ordering a hit of some sort against a caller to the Howard Stern radio show. The caller claimed to have attended high school with Lynch and stated that a number of disruptive concessions, such as the construction of ramps and elevators, were made by the school for the tiny terror. Lynch contacted a person with supposed mob ties and instructed the man to track down the caller. The message ended with Lynch intoning ominously, "You know what to do. You know what to do." No word on whether or not the midget FBI has been notified of his wee mob activities.

Enough about Bud Light. Here's a little history about those beer drinking Irish leprechauns.
In Irish mythology, a leprechaun is a type of male fairy said to inhabit the island of Ireland. They usually take the form of old men who enjoy partaking in mischief.
Their trade is that of a cobbler or shoemaker. (You can thank the leprechauns for those Air Jordan or Nike shoes.) They are said to be very rich, having many treasures buried during war-time. According to legend, if anyone keeps an eye fixed upon one, the leprechaun cannot escape, but the moment the eye is withdrawn, he vanishes.
The leprechaun originally had a different appearance depending on where in Ireland he was found. In fact, before the 20th century, most people agreed that the leprechaun wore red - not green. No word on whether the midgets were drunk or sober.
Movies, television cartoons and advertising have popularized a specific image of leprechauns that really doesn't resemble anything found in Irish mythology. Many Irish people find our image of a leprechaun offensive, and say it doesn't reflect the rich culture and traditions of Ireland.
